Youngstown State University Judaic and Holocaust Studies sponsors a trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum each year. The trip is one of the most popular programs offered by Judaic and Holocaust Studies and this bus is regularly filled up within a week of being advertised. The trip is designed to take place during one day allowing students who work or have other responsibilities the opportunity to take part in this exceptional educational opportunity. The bus departs early on Sunday morning (usually around 5 am) arriving at the Holocaust Museum at 11 am. Students tour the museum for the day. The bus departs Washington D.C. at 5 pm returning students to Youngstown by approximately 11 pm. Students are charged a nominal fee to hold their space on the trip.
